Aikido of Charlotte March 2005 Seminar
On March 1st, Aikido of Charlotte moved to a new location.
The Grand Opening Seminar was on March 5th. We were very pleased to have
over 30 participants come join us for this unique format. We held (4)
classes with the (4) instructors of Aikido of Charlotte sharing something a
little different. The first class was led by Jonathan Weiner, Shodan where
the focus was "Henka waza", the second class was led by Donald McConnell,
Nidan where the emphasis was "centering", the third class was led by William McLuskie, Sandan covering "Atemi waza" & we wrapped up with Aikido of Charlotte Founder, Dennis Main, Yondan, Fukushidoin, where he taught Kaeshi waza. We had attendees from the (2) local USAF schools, Aikido of Charlotte & Water Oak Aikikai, an out of town USAF school, Raleigh Aikikai & another local Charlotte ASU dojo, Charlotte Aikikai. It was a very fun day!
