Open Sky Aikikai Demo, July 2007

Open Sky Aikikai was invited by the Triangle Nippon Club to give a demonstration on July 14th at their Natsu-Matsuri Children's Festival. 750 people attended. Nippon Club members wore traditional costumes so the festival was very colorful. Open Sky's members wore their uniforms, of course, and the children wore their colored belts. It was a lovely family picnic day. Our school brought over 20 people and their families. Our demo included basic practices by the children, a jo kata by Andy Wood and his 10-year old son Ben, and partner jo kata with our jo teachers, Andy Wood and Charlie Hileman. Many of our senior teaching members gave a great group demo. Not to brag, but Open Sky was lookin' good. Error processing SSI file
